ok well the same thing is happening to me except i am the guy that this is happening to and my name is brandon, maybe this is you heather wich i hope not.. but maybe it is well idk why you would just stop loving someone expescialy after being with someone for so long and going through so much and saying that you would never want to lose each other, in a relationship you are supose to make it through the rough and the smooth times, talk to him and see if there is something you want him to change to were you will love him again like you use to, cause it is really going to hurt there is no way that it wont hurt because love hurts so much expescially if you make someone your whole life and care more about them than anything in the world and would never do nothing to hurt them and all of a sudden they just stop loving you thats not love, you have to be more mature and no what your doing when it comes to love everytime you see someone else you mite like you cant just switch to another person cause thats not right your supose to me loyal and love the person you got and i was never mean or anything i really need help idk if this is you heather but if not i am going through the exact same thing and talk to him b4 doing this and try to work something out or maybe its just one thing your not liking about him anymore and you may mean the world to him well write me back and tell me how you feel please my e-mail is brandon32689@yahoo.com

breaking up with someone is always a difficult decision to make. Truth is someone in the whole situation will feel a little bit hurt. You sound young so if I were you I wouldn't tie myself down to anyone until you've truly met the person who will someday become you life-mate. Just explain to him that you are sorry but you just don't feel like things are working out because you've found you have feelings for someone else. Tell him he's a good guy and that he'll probably find someone who feels the way he does. This guy probably won't take it all that well but the fact is: would he rather you cheat on him while you are together or break it off first? That's the question I'd ask him if he asks you why.
Good Luck!

You're gonna break up with Brandon sooner or later and you know it. Staying with him if you don't want to be with him and dragging things out isn't the way to be most kind to him. The best thing you can do is let him go so he doesn't get any more attached than he is now. The longer you wait, the more it's probably gonna hurt his feelings when you do break it off with him.

What would you want him to do if your situations were reversed?

If you string him along you will surely hurt him.
Make a decision and stick with it, what if this other guy don't care for you the way Brandon does? You need to decide what you want to do with yourself.
Being single is your best bet...

Well you don't want to waste his time any more then, so just get it over with. Be nice about it and insist on being friends. Don't go running after the new guy right away though. That's just rude. I hope this helps.

I would be honest with him,I would set him aside and I would tell him"look I dont want to hurt you but i dont feel the same for u anymore,i really hope we can still be friends because our love relationship just cant go on." good luck!

I fail to understand your problem. You need to keep it real, tell whomever the truth and go on from there. Hurting is part of life, dealing with it is another part. Always tell the truth. Keep it v e r y real. Good luck!

Ok brake up w/ him and do it nice but not to nice because if he really likes you he can misenterpret what you say so be nice but not to nice, dont feel guilty about brakeing up w/ him because other wise youd just be lieing to him and that can hurt worse and lead to cheating and other stuff.

Break up with him and stop wasting his time and yours. He will be hurt, but he will get over it. We all get hurt at one time or another. Just a part of life.

Hey,
This is Monique,
Just tell him that both of you should start meeting new people and get to know them. He won't really get his feelings hurt, because maybe, some other girls want to go with him too!!!
