floats that would say, "god hates gays"
and "the end is near repent!"
and "your all sinners to god!"
you would have the occasional "god loves everyone" float too though...
it seems to me it would be a rather depressing parade though. anyone else?

Well I do not agree with the way things go about---when it comes to christianity, like I said there is a proper way to show the truth--and we only glorify God when we abide by what HE says, not self righteousness or arrogance. So saying "God hates gays" would not be the right way to show someone who is gay they need to repent. I don't agree with that. I believe the gospel needs to be shared the way Jesus shared it--by showing people the 10 commandments, and how they have sinned against God, then explain why we need Christ....and Jesus did this in a loving way, He set the example for US to follow when it comes to spreading His word.

The current parade of denominations is depressing because denominationalism is a direct violation of the stated will of God, "that they all may be ONE, even as I an My heavenly Father are ONE". This ungodly situation is not something to celebrate.

The Irish Catholics would be lots of fun. Keep in mind of course, the best place in a parade is in front of the Amish horses.

it would be depressing mostly because Christ founded only one church and it has splintered despite His hope that it would not.
