I have lived in a house with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years and I haven't done anything to redecorate. I am a college student and I don't have a lot of cash. This place is still decorated like a bachelor pad and I am tired of it, but can't afford much to fix it up. I am most tired of the band posters on s couple of the walls, but have nothing to put in there place and can't afford it. All in all the place needs a little woman. Any creative ideas for sprucing the place up?

My favorite thing to do on the weekends is to hit any and all rumage and garage sales you see!!! Spring time is comming and they will be everywhere!! Yea! (i can't wait!) Also, find your local GoodWill Store, or a St.Vincent Depal store. St. Vinnies is ALOT cheaper then GoodWill. As you looking at the things they have, try to think of different ways to use what you see. You might see a wall shelf thats really ugly,But a can of spray paint and your all set! Example: a ugly golden framed mirror that the gold was worn off most of it. $2.00 at a rumage sale. I spray painted it black, bought a little jar of gold leaf paint, and painted gold leaf on the axcents of the frame. Just the other day,I was online looking at the Speagel Home website,THERE IT WAS! Same mirror only mine looks better and they wanted $85 for it! Use your imagination! And have fun!

I don't have alot of money either, & I'm cheap. I've found alot of nice framed pictures & poster size prints at the dollar tree for $1.00 each. Lots of decorative things there. Thrift shops are great too.
