well speaking from experience it can be very difficult to date someone with kids if u don't have any being a possible step parent believe me is very very hard its not what its all cracked up to be and in many cases ur in a no win spot

Depends on the situation with the ex, if the ex gets in the way, it can be really hard.If the kids are nasty, it can be really hard. I dated an older guy with kids, the kids just couldn`t get over the fact that their dad was dating someone else, they made my life a living hell. But I`m sure my situation wasn`t the norm. Families are more diverse today, step families are very common, and most do function. I know some situations where step parents actually become more of a parent to the child than the actual bio parent.

Not at all i dont have any kids, but my ex girlfriend has 2 ,girl 15, and a boy 4, both wonderful kids, i didnt have any problam with them, i wouldnt want any kids of my own as im getting to old for that now,

Yes. If you are dating someone w/a kid. Be careful. Don't get involved unless you are sure about all of them! You can't just date the person w/kids & then walk away after becoming involved in their lives - think about it carefully. ok? I know from experience.

yes and I don't recommend it. If you (I'm guessing it's you from the stance on the question) have kids, you need to dedicate your life to raising those kids. Your kids come first and your needs come 2nd. If the father is deceased, my condolences. But if he just bailed, sorry but sucks to be you. Your kids need you so much and bringing a man into your life would just hurt them like crazy.
I'm not just talking out my behind, my mother did the same. Trust me hon, just be there with your kids. Once the youngest one is 18, your home free. Take a cruise and just enjoy.

Not at all but the main rule is you must like being around kids and if you don't have that in your background well your hooped. Alot of Guys date single moms it is becoming quite normal if this is something that interests you then just go for it.

Every relationship has its vice...and dating someone with kids may be a little hard, but I truly believe that if that person loves you, they will love and accept the children as well.

I've dated several woman with kids. And I have gotten along with the kids great and have taken them with us to different things.
I'm dating one now with 3 kids and I enjoy doing things with the kids and her and me make time for us.

It creates challenges in that the party without kids has a lot of learning to do and fast. It's difficult but it can be done.

My daughter tried this and she really loved the little boy, but in the end it didn't work out.
I don't know why. The poor little boy surely wanted my daughter as his mother. His maternal mother died of cancer.
This was the sweetest little boy. so well mannered.
Guess it just wasn't there.
Such a sad situation.
