i have to visit my dad on saturday and he lives in florida and i live in texas and i don't want to go but i have to and i have to go again for 42 days in the summer i don't want to go but how do i tell him.

You need to ask yourself, why do you not want to visit your father (I assume your folks are divorced)?
If it is just because you do not want to go, will miss your friends for a bit, etc., I think that it is not an appropriate reason to not want to visit your father (whom I am assuming is eager to see you).
However, if it is for a more serious reason (his behavior, you do not feel safe around him, etc), then I would definitely speak with your mom and let her know why you do not want to visit your father.
But whatever the reason is, I would speak to your mother about it and see if the two of you can come to a solution or compromise.
