Apparently many Christians can't conceive of a self-imposed morality. Without their rule book, they might run amok.

I agree with you. Many atheists are moral and charitable people and funny. All people are born with some measure of what is right and wrong, some more than others. So, as a Christian I don't think you are a bad apple. However, we believe that God is looking for perfection in man and we can't be that way, that is why a Savior was given to us. We believe that and you don't.

Because they believe that since we have no fear of going to hell, we feel we can be as bad as we want and still be fine. Which isn't true. There are plenty of Christians who have done horrible things, just like atheists. Yes, we don't believe the fairy tales in the bible. That doesn't mean don't have a conscience and that we can't do the right thing.
When Christians and people of other religions say that they are being unfair.

It's only a very small minority who believe this. The vast majority of christians I know would not consider someone to be immoral just because that person was not a believer.
Empty vessels make the most noise. Or to put it more biblically, they need to remove the log from their own eye before they look at the speck in someone else's.
Geez chippy, I never thought about that, but it makes a lot of sense. I had honestly never considered that someone would ever need an external morality guide to stop them being animalistic. I'm scared now. Thanks for nothing.

Because they dont have any code of laws other than the laws of the goverment, like the Quran, the Torah, the Analects or the Vedas etc. I think this is not because they think they are better than you, i just leads them to think they are better than you. And no that has nothing to do with right or wrong. The bible says that we all have morals installed inside of us, and that includes atheists.

You'll only get that from shallow Christians. There are enough of them that understand there have always been morals, in all societies, whether they have 1, 1,000, or zero gods. (Anthropology is not THAT new.)
Of course you'll always have the "twisters" who will actually invent a definition of "morals" so that it excludes anyone not sitting beside them on Sunday. But again, the Christian clergy I know would be embarrassed to hear such nonsense. Trust me, a lot of them are cool that way.

Christians are simple minded people with little more than a basic herd instinct, which must be manipulated in order to keep them from raping and stealing.
They cannot comprehend anything beyond their simple existence, and if not for constant threat of eternal damnation, they would return to the raping and pillaging that the Old Testament is so full of.
Most Atheists I know have a very well thought out system of ethics, based on the past history of civilzation and their own personal experience.
But trying to explain personal philosophy to a Christian is like trying to teach your dog to fetch your paper AND read it to you.
They only understand, "God Mad! Must Sacrifice Virgin!"

authentic the subsequent element you pick to ask your self. Muslims think of Christians are incorrect Christians think of Jews are incorrect and unreligous people think of you're all muppets. As for Muslims they seem to make it up as they pass. One occasion of it is the certainty they say you could no longer have been the guy united shirt it particularly is the sign of the devil ermm that in the time of basic terms got here into concern a pair of months in the past how long have manu been taking part in i think of many years. And we've our answer its called Nature its called Physics its called Evolution we at the instant are not finding for an answer we've one do you have one that could be backed? Gullable = actually taken in or tricked faith = A beliefe in something you could no longer see or touch no longer quite some a distinction in my eyes. If I got here as much as you with 200,000 people and a e book that asserts tree's can talk will you carry on with my faith please it makes a hell of so plenty extra experience. additionally i could pick to function my element on faith. i think of Jesus did exist i myself do yet i do no longer think of god did or does. i think of jesus replaced right into a sensible guy ahead of his time. a guy who understood drugs in extra progressed concepts than everyone else. and persons forsore him as an stronger individual and by the years he grew to develop right into a nicely regular determine of healing. Ever heard of chinese language whispers the place one individual starts off a whisper off and it may replace because it gets down the line nicely my opinion same is going for Jesus. He went from a legend to the son of a effectual being. Peple like Hawking and Einstien in the event that they went lower back to the day of jesus they too ought to probable develop into gods having the flexibility to create hearth from sticks and stones having the flexibility to regulate electricity are you asserting they does no longer people lower back then did no longer be attentive to the way the international worked. the only reason Hawking and Einstein arn't gods right this moment's because of the fact the final inhabitants is plenty cleverer and the standard individual knows electricty and hearth.

Perhaps a better way to frame the question is On what can an Atheist base his morals on? What reason do you have to decide that murder is wrong, or rape, or incest? Is not it just your opinion verses mine. If you have something and I want it why can I not take it if I am bigger than you.

Because they think all morality ultimately emenates from God, and therefore by denying God, atheists deny any sense of morality.
