All health care professionals have a duty to practice their chosen profession with compassion and a strong sense of ethics.Dragging personnel and religious belief into the mix is wrong, you are there to carry out MD's orders and to treat your patient with dignity and respect, not to judge or condemn someone for any legal choices they have made. You don't have to work there if you find it offensive. I hate "drunks",but I've never walked away from one who needed my care.Any health care worker or pharmacist that would deny a patient her legal right to privacy or medical treatment should lose their state licenses SW RNP
