thats why we have faith...if God just came down from Heaven and fixed all our probems...we will never learn to have faith and when it comes a time for us to need faith...we will fail miserably because we never learned to have faith. we are in a relationship with God...God puts in effort...so we must put in effort also. God wants us to trust in Him....and one day....He will come and et us straight...cuz when He comes...the evil people will be set paart from the righteous and the righteous will go to Heaven. Thank God! im waiting for Him to hurry up cuz i wanna leave this place NOW!

Because there is nothing to "set straight". We were sent down here to "experience ourselves", which we could not do in the realm we came from (heaven) because that is a realm of absolute. You can not experience what you are( good) without exposure to what you are not ("bad"). Degrees of good can only exist in the realm of the relative. With more enlightement we begin to see things as they really are.. PERFECT.

Revival starts within by acknowledging that you are a sinner and that you believe that Jesus died for your sins. Ask Him to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior and you will be saved. Start reading His Word (Bible) everyday and He wlll change you,change your outlook on life. You can then start reaching others and in essence He is here trying to straighten us out. He has always been here.

God has, through Jesus and continues to do so today as the Holy Spirit guiding us. Our problem is that we do not listen or want to listen to the Truth when God is standing in front of us.

Simple: That can be faked. Not only faked, but faked EASILY.
Think about it: If you saw a man, on TV and the internet, claiming to be GOD, would you listen and obey??? If you saw signs and miracles on TV, would you believe them? I saw miracles in Spider Man...doesn't mean I believe they happened in real life. :-P For real- we'd just think it was special effects.
How would we know God from power hungry crazies - every nut that claims to be him? lol- Many people on TV and the internet claim to be God. lol- just read it. Even in Yahoo message boards. :-)
I'd rather God reveal himself to me the way he does: by answering prayer, giving me wisdom when I read the scriptures; and having a tangible impact on my life. Sorry, David Koresh & Co. cannot do that. :-) that is God working in a way that cannot be faked

free choice, my friend, free choice....we all have it...God is not pushy but is always with us if we make the choice the have Him in our lives...that's one of the beauties of God...He is not dictatorial but does have guidelines we either choose to accept or ignore. I, personally, have found Our Father to be loving with "tough" Love...the kind of love any good father should have for their own children....
