The egg! It was proven by some scientist that probably made a ton of money on it. The egg was the product of some mutation thing from an animal that (I think) was sorta like a chicken, only prehistoric.

The egg because the chicken probably revolved from the dinasoaur. It probably got deformed over the years and became a chicken egg which became a chicken. Now, if you ask which came first the dinasaur or the egg? I have no idea.
