previous ans . if that is so, how do you know that you are learning the lessons, in which you did not learn before?

that is unfortuante. these aren't details but merely more questions towards the responses given.

tpoplar, that was a well thought response. In your respnse you said that you're here because of your mistakes; means that if you didn't make a mistake then you wouldn't exist. are you trying to that if one makes mistakes one exist? so what if one does not make a mistake?

to worship god according to who's belief? Since we live in a world with so many religions, how do we know that what we worship, others look down upon? like the example of black and white colors. while some people wear black to funerals and some others of different cultures wear white. to say that you're here to worship god is too vague, for which god are you worshipping?

I'm here because I didn't learn all the lessons I needed to in a previous life....to answer your question, I don't know-nobody knows. My ego prevents me from seeing my true self. Life is a constantly turning wheel with people desperate to get off. Personally, I believe the only way to liberate yourself is to examine what type of person you are, and what type of person you want to be. I'm here because I made "mistakes" in a previous life, and this life is a direct result of the actions I made in a past life (some call it karma). Now I'm not Christian or Muslim or what have you. I do believe in God and I do believe in a "christ consciousness". Most christians believe Jesus Christ was God incarnate and that was the only reason he had such a high level of spiritual maturity and understanding of things seemingly hidden to the human's "spiritual" eye. I believe Christ had been reincarnated so many times that eventually he was able to break that egotistical barrier that hithers us. Do you see yourself for who you truly are? Probably not, or else you wouldn't be here-I don't either. I am here because I have a tendency to be arrogant, hateful and jealous. Those are just some of my faults; I accept them and I try to improve myself. Are these the lessons I'm supposed to be learning? I don't know. God is like that evil teacher that tells his/her students to "study everything for the test." A test is much easier when you have a study guide. There is no study guide for life. Bottom line in my opinion is: you and I and everyone on this earth is here because we have not attained a spiritual maturity to where we can meticulously view our short-comings. I'm sure you're going to ask "Well why do we even have to go through this". My answer is-I don't know, I'm not God; and I don't belive the human mind can comprehend this question until we achieve a higher level of spiritual awareness.
