I am currently having a third onset of Bell's Palsy. This time I am pregnant so I can't take medication. I am currently trying out accupuncture. Is there anything else I can do?

The best thing you can do for treating Bells Palsy is to simply let it run it's course, Facial exercise can actually cause the nerves to regrow in the wrong places, though that would be a rare case, it is possible. The best thing you can do is simply let your face rest, as it is regrowing/reattaching nerves in your face, and moving can hinder that when you don't need to move it.

My suggestion would be to search the internet for "Bell's Palsy". I always go to WebMd first then try other websites. They all have information that you might be looking for. Good luck with your condition and your new baby.

Facial exercise....there's a book in Barnes and nobles that tackles cleaning and facial exercises that costs about $12. It comes with a DVD ... good luck!

make sure that you keep circulation flowing so warm compresses may help.
