What a good question!

Think about how Jesus loved the church...which is all of us.
He gave His life for all of us...and you give your life for the woman you marry.

If she was in danger, would you give your life to save hers?

If she is sick, would you give up your needs, to provide for hers? What if she has an accident, and ends up in a wheelchair? Would you be there for her...maybe for years?

Jesus thought first of what we needed. Would you think first of your wife's needs before your own...not just once....but in everything?

I met a man once who was a living example of this. His wife had been in an accident and had been irreparably brain damaged.....and she could no longer be a wife to him...was more like a child he was taking care of ....yet he did it every day, for years...because he loved her and he was loving her like Christ loved the church....he had a total commitment to her. I never forgot him, because he was such a living example of what God wanted him to do.

You see... marriage is you thinking of your wife and her needs 100% of the time, and she is to be thinking about yours as well....but it is given to you as a responsibility by God.

So I guess a good question would be in all situations...What would Jesus do?

Christ loved the church by:
giving all his time and attention to it's welfare,
it was the focus of all of his thoughts and actions,
he died for the church....

how can a man do the same....
give his wife his time and attention, make her welfare a priority,
maker her (not sports, work, etc) the focus of your life
are you willing to die for her??? most husbands say yes, but are you willing to live for her?

You help her. You keep her at your side not under your feet! She is to be your helper not your maid. You listen when she needs to vent and decisions need to be made by both of you. Be in love with her. Tell her, show her, and respect her. Keep God in the marriage and things will be better. You will still have trials but with God you will be great! Good Luck!!!!!!

Love her with your whole heart, mind and body. Care for her and about her. Take care that nothing negative happens to her within your control and teach her more about the love of Jesus.

Christ was Jewish. The Catholic church didn't formulate and hundreds of years later. So the question should be as Christ loved the synagogue.

Now, having said that, your question is nonsensical. Try rephrasing.

Christ treated the church like his very own and he loved it. He made sure that they locked the doors at night to keep them safe. Make sure your wife locks the house doors at night to keep you safe. Make sure that you lock the bedroom door when you make her dress as the naughty school girl and you pretend to be the principal.
