I want to tell my best guy friend that I like him as more than a friend. I am pretty sure he likes me the same way but I'm not sure where to begin...Any suggestions?

Ask him if he ever considered dating you as more than a friend. It's a sneaky way to put it on him without admitting how you feel. You can just claim to be curious and not interested if he says no. If he tries to turn it around by asking you back, just say "Nope, I asked you first!"
Of course, you could just come out and say "I think we should date." If you have it in you to do that, you might enjoy the momentary shock he would have.

Eather sit down with him, talk to him on the phone, or talk to him online and say "I know we've are friends and all..but I just wanted to tell you that I really like you more then a friend and its been bugging me so I just thought I would let you know and I wanted to know if you feel the same way."

Maybe you can invite him to dinner, but I wouldn't be as direct as the other answerers suggested. Because if he isn't feeling the same way about you, then you run the risk of ruining the friendship.

just be carefull. I just pretty much ruined a good guy friendship by trying to date. it didn't work out now it's really hard to be around him
