If your Father is happy to include you as a 'named driver' the premium (in UK) would be far lower than if you obtained your own..
Don't let your Dad down.
Remember, the story starts here and even at 66 years of age, I still treat every other driver as my equal but realise I will never be right all the time.

Congratulations!! When my children were able to drive, I was able to insure them through State Farm at a reasonable rate. A lot of insurance companies would not even insure them. If this option doesn't work, try being added as an additional drive in the household. It is expensive but well worth it.

Some (UK)Insurance companys will allow a named driver to build up a no claims bonus. This may be your best opion stay on Dad's Insurance for a while and then go it alone later,May even be able to have a multi car deal a little further down the line!

Your dad will need to add you to his policy for one or more of his cars, or put you on as an exclusion from driving any or some of the cars. You are still a minor, therefore there is no other option.

There are some insurance policies out now which allow a named driver on another person's insurance to accumulate no claims discount. If I were a new young driver I would certainly be looking into this option. Congratulations on passing your driving test. (U.K.)

Ridiculous. A intense overall performance motor vehicle is a completely stupid concept once you have purely handed your attempt, it has not something to do with no remember in case you may discover the money for it or not. it somewhat is greater risky to different street clients and pedestrians (given which you at the instant are not experienced sufficient to deal with the potential yet), and permit's settle for it, you're purely going to crash it besides. I advise, is her dad going to purchase her yet another one whilst she crashes it right into a tree and writes it off in 6 weeks' time? that gets high priced very immediately, even for somebody on a £100k+ sales. All 17 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds could initiate out with a a million or a million.2 litre engined small motor vehicle it somewhat is a minimum of as previous as they are. (e.g.: 1993 Vauxhall Corsa or Nissan Micra). in actuality, i could be in favour of this being enshrined in regulation, with greater modern-day and larger engined vehicles being constrained to drivers elderly 21 or older (aside from persons whopersistent as area of their job). as properly as recuperating secure practices, this might hammer living house to teenage snobs like your college pal that they are not greater effective than something human beings! good success consisting of your merchandising by using the way... and experience your new wheels in spite of motor vehicle you get. you will get a lot of delight from understanding to procure the motor vehicle by using your guy or woman not undemanding attempt and not by using your daddy's wallet.

You should ask his agent. Insurance agents are usually pretty good about making sure you're paying as little as possible. They get paid based on the number of services you have, not how much you pay, so if they can get you to pay less for what you have, maybe you'll add on more services...
