answering the stupid question? When someone asks a question they want an answer, not your life philosophy. If you don't know an answer just say "i don't know" or just don't attempt to write a response.

But some of us enjoy sharing our wealth of knowledge especially if we know it is unsolicited or annoying. We do this to make uptight people pissed off. Maybe those who are asking questions should think about it before asking, else someone like myself will go through the question and realize we have the chance to enlighten someone who normally is unable to think for themselves. By just giving an answer the asker does not get to learn how someone came to the conclusion and thus never be able to develop their own brains. In reality by giving you a long drawn out course in philosophy we are doing you a huge favor because you're learning to think for yourself even if it is out of aggravation of having to read all through all the writings.

However since you wanted a short succinct answer here it is. Because we don't want to do it the way you want it we want to do it the way we want.

I don't know but my philosophy is to ask more intelligent questions and to only answer those questions which are philosophically answerable with a degree of intelligence.

Because most of the questions on here are opinion questions if you read them. "Would you buy this car or that one", "why do you think this happened to me", how would you do this". All of these type of questions require one to give there opinion. Very few questions have a black and white, purely analytical answer.
