I am having a running battle with my GP I detest her as a doctor and as a person! I am diabetic and she outright lied to me last time I saw her about PCT policy...she is going to regret lying to me!
I hope your baby is better now. Complain to the surgery in writing if you are not happy about the care your baby received. they only way we can improve our service is by complaining. Dr's are not superhuman or above the laws of decent behavior. They should be taken to task and perhaps then they would be more caring!

Hi there, yes i find Gp's these days don't want to give you the time of day, infact i went to mine afew months ago as i was worried about getting so many headaches...she basically told me i shouldn't have come in, i could have rang her and dealt with it over the phone.. i was really upset..plus i don't think the phone is going to check my eyes or blood pressure. I also reluctantly went to her for the first time in years, about a year ago because i was very depressed and bulimic....she told me i would grow out of the eating disorder and basically never gave a crap. I felt extremely let down. she did send me to a physchiatric nurse though for my suicidal state, who shouted at me, suggested I was lying and after 3 meetings told me she couldnt help...so to be honest I am pretty mad at docs and gp's these days and the whole NHs system, esp for mental health issues. Is nothing like what is portrayed on Tv where doctors are caring and really want to help, i always find that so unrealistic! x

Long story but I've had problems with them too. You can just about put up with rude, incompetent medical staff when it's yourself that is unwell but when it is your children they make you want to scream with frustration and shake them in pure anger.

P.S
That was the polite version!
