I dont think any acne products that are sold in the market today work for acne. I think they make it a lot worst. I mean if you have a few pimples or zits, it may work. But if you have acne, you need to see a skin doctor and have something perscribed, like an anti-biotic and a topical cream or gel. I suggest Ziana- a new acne gel. It works! Also, ask about minocycline or accutane if its really bad. In the meantime, wash your face with cool water, never hot! And dont use scrubs or toners, they will aggrivate it more. Try Cetaphil face wash and moisturizer. They are mild and gentle.

Best wishes.

I have had great results with Proactiv. It's definitely worth the price. Also, if you go to an aestetician (someone at a salon that does facials), he or she will give you advice on what products to use. They've been to school for skin care, and the visit won't be as bad as a visit to the dermatologist.

I use accutane. It works great.
I also use a clean washcloth every day, to keep bacteria from growing and getting on my face.
More than anything, just keep your face clean! Put a little more effort into washing your face than other areas. This will make less zits appear, and make the ones that still do easier to pop.

If you had a bad (traumatic) life expirence, I would try a Mexican herb call "Arnica". You have to make it into a tea, and it almost tastes like water. That cured me. Or if you have bad eating habits. You would need to avoid starch like corn, potatoes, carrots, bananas and white rice. In addition, white bread, and surger. Go to your library and look for Dr. Perricone books. He is a well know dermatologist, and have written serveral books about skin, and diets.

My son has been using this - and his acne has cleared up.
Also the ingrediants are 'better' for you - [you know the old saying your body absorbs whatever you put in it and on it]
see link below and feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

see a doctor
they give you some really good stuff.
I have been through 10 different things.
Some do work but some dont.
I found that they did work but i came immune to it.
And also, the doctor put me on the pill
and my skin has never been better.
