hahah. that is so funny. I hate driving too with a passion. But a car starter? GEEZE. You know how guys like cars so much. Maybe he thought since he would want that gift, that you would too. Truth is, men have no clue about women. To get him to be more romantic- force him to watch movies like the notebook. During the cute parts say- awww I would love it if I had that done to me and get all emotional.

I think that is romantic. Funny, but romantic. It shows he cares about you. I mean, come on, an automatic car starter? You don't have to go out in the cold and start your car?! How sweet. He was thinking about you.. You should appreciate that.

aww man that's just wrong. At least he didn't give it to you for valentine's day. ummmm. i guess that's a guy thing. Some guys are just born romantic and other aren't ... haha like in that movie "Hitch" with will smith, they just need someone to help them out. so maybe you should send him little hints next time of things you would like or things you wouldn't like. Maybe he knew you hated driving and wanted to get you something to make it easier on you. so he was still thoughtful and that counts for something. I'd more upset if he had forgotten completely.

C'mon waitress! That was super mega nice of him....and useful! If he gave you flowers they would be dead by now, and if he gave you candy, you would have eaten it.

His idea was practical and thoughtful.

The Notebook was a movie. That's make believe. I understand the whirlwind sentiment you are looking for be couples make their own magic.

most men dont see the point in buying something like roses or candy that aren't going to last but maybe a week. They want to give you something practical, something you can use. At least he went to the trouble of getting you something!

You can not make anyone act the way you want them to. You know that! Maybe he is not your " Mr Right". Either you can be satisfyed with Mr Right Now...or go find Mr Right...and stop complaining.

if you don't appreciate the way he does things for you, he's not the one for you. but remember not every guy comes from fairytales and movies.. those are fake people.

be glad that you have somebody who loves you
