A former male friend of mine at work is kinda avoiding me. We were close friends b4, but we had joked about hooking up until I got upset with him since I ended up wanting to and felt like he was disrespecting me. I ended up calling him a dog since he has a gf overseas and was talking to me about doing it. Anyway I ended up writing a letter to him apologizing to him and he told me I was too weird to be his friend since I gave him mixed signals. He emailed me telling me I needed therapy and that I should get a bf and some friends. When he emailed me this, I was hurt and had been ignoring him for a month, but I could tell he would look at me and try to make me jealous by talking to other girls. I think he realized he had hurt my feelings since I could tell he looked guilty sometimes. I went up to him and said hi and he said hi. He looked at me like he wanted to talk. We have been just saying hi for the past couple of days and people at work are being too nice.

Having a guy act like that should tell you one thing & one thing only... he's a guy who believes in mental, and verbal abuse when he doesn't get what he wants. This is a guy I wouldn't want to tango with! Can you imagine being treated like that every day in a relationship with him? Okay... can you imagine him being the father of your child? The answers to those questions should tell you if it's even worth your time or energy.

He's a guy who likes to get exactly what he wants & that's it. He lies to his girlfriends, and manipulates women into giving him what ever he's needing from them. You could be a girl with a bag over your head & it wouldn't matter to him. It's what you've got between your legs that he wants, and if that's not what you're giving to him, he could care less if he hurts your feelings or not. Seriously, you're not really that desperate! Find another man! Let his stupid long distance girlfriend enjoy his disrespectful ways! You don't need that in your life!

he is acting like this because he is too much of an insecure, wrong-acting asshole to be honest with you. So what is your best revenge? Give him a be-honest-or-forever-reap-the-consequences situation. Find your guts, pull him aside, say 'what the hell are you talking aobut mixed signals? are there supposed to be signals? you are the one with the girlfriend! The truth is I like you. Clearly you know that since I wrote you a letter apologizing for something that didn't need to be apologized for. So if you want to get with me, speak now or forever hold your peace. If you don't want to be with me, stop acitng like it, it's annoying and it's disrespectful to your girlfriend.'

You probably don't want to do this because your afraid of what he might say. Well all I can say to that is who the hell cares, that is just life. At least you won't be wondering what if.

Or you could go on and play the mixed signals game, because sometimes that is fun. But it is also torturous.

Or you could just play-flirt with him to pass the time. But that's all it will ever be.

But really, why do you want to talk to some guy who tries to make you feel bad when obviously they are the one in the wrong?

He's just trying to show out. Leave the cat, I mean, the dog alone.
