Burples? They were a slinky-type plastic contraption that had some kind of magic in it that it made kool-aid when you added water and extended the crinkles in it. Burples.

Yes, I remember Burples!

Sadly, it was another case of the packaging being better than the actual product that was inside of it.

As I remember, the bottles were made in the "accordion" fashion. They would stretch, and collapse to the amount of drink you wanted to mix up.

I would give them a grade of "A" for the overall idea, and inventive packaging, but I would have rated the drink mix average at best. But it was still a cool little product!

They were magical for using in the pool. If you pulled them out to their full size, filled them with water, and then slammed them shut, you could make water fly out the end with impressive force.


I remember - the drink was pretty awful though.....
