My son is 28 months, I need help! He'll sit on the potty won't pee or poop, and then I'll put his diaper back on and he'll pee or do both. What can I do to make him us the potty successfully?

throw cheerios in the toilet and tell him to aim at them when he pees and give him praise when he hits them. my mom did it for all three of my brothers. strangely enough my 4 year old nephew potty trained my 2 year old nephew by showing him how to potty like a big boy. and my younger nephew wanted to imitate him so bad that he got on the toilet and stayed until he did it like a big boy

My son hated using a potty, so I used the toilet instead. I bought a block to stand on and he just took to it straight away. Also they tend to feel a bit more grown up if they use the toilet rather than a potty.
It takes time, so dont worry, you will get there in the end.
