Depends on how old each of you are. If one is 18 and the other 29, then yes, if one is 50 and the other 61 then no.

The reality is you're going to do whatever you want to do, even if you are 18 and he is 29, but try thinking of it this way: What were you like 11 years ago? My guess would be significantly different than you are now. A whole lot of life happens in 11 years, especially from 18 - 35. Having dated significantly older men before, I've always found that they turn out to be too stodgy for me, too parental, too 'been there, done that', too controlling.

For me, the magic cut off number seems to be about 5 years.

Depends on the ages we are talking about. If she is 19 and you are 30 - that is a pretty big difference given maturity levels (usually), things in common, etc.

But if we're talking something more like 27 and 38, 35 and 46, etc. then it isn't as big of a deal.

But really it ultimately matters on how you both are. If you guys are on the same page about matters. Do you have things in common. Do you agree about finances. Goals in life. Etc. If most of that is pretty much on target for both of you, then maybe it would be fine no matter the age.

As long as she is at least 18! : )

I am 10 yrs younger than my hubby...nobody would know it when they meet us. we go to the store with our granddaughter and people think she is our daughter. We are so comfy with each other and belong together. So my answer would have to be no the age diff should not be an issue unless the female is too young, vulnerable and being taken advantage of. my youngest child is also married to someone 12 yrs their senior and actually the emotional maturity seems to be on an even playing field for them.

I think guys mature at a slower pace than gurls, mentally.so being with an older guy means someone who can understand u better...as along as you feel that u can bridge the age difference and u both get along..eleven years aint too much..

It really depends on the maturity level of both people. My husband is only two years older than me, but I feel like he is 10 years younger.

i'm seeing somebody it is 7 yrs older than me. i do no longer think of of age being a huge situation. I had a buddy that dated a buddy of ours father. that they had 22yrs between them. He made her happy and that replaced into all i wanted to hearken to. talk on your brother and tell him the way you experience and ask him could he have a situation with it first. do no longer sneak around his lower back and enable him discover out from somebody else. be sure you enable him be attentive to that his emotions remember to you and you somewhat like his maximum suitable buddy and could pick to objective a relationship with him. yet another element. i'm in simple terms guessing which you haven't any longer have been given little ones once you're saying that he has 2 and you do no longer think of which will situation you. the little ones are continuously going to be there no remember what and in the event that they at the instant are not there then there is something incorrect with the guy. do no longer try to make him pick to be with you extra effective than his little ones. be sure you get to be attentive to them to in case you carry on a relationship with him. no longer on the initiating yet later particular. If issues get severe with you and him be sure you get to be attentive to the little ones because of the fact they're going to be there and continuously will. stable success!

Not unless it's a problem for either of you! Age is but a number, as long as you guys love each other and share common goals and likes, I don't see why that would be a problem.

It depends on the couple. As long as the younger person is at least 25, it shouldn't be a huge problem if both parties are comfortable with it.
