I would mention it to him. it might be a wake up call. My wife and i talk about everything and when she feels left alone or unatractive i do some thing special just for her. we do anything to make one another happy.

What are you talking about?. Is everything going OK and do you enjoy his company. Proving hisself to you is a great question if you have proved yourself to him. It almost sounds like a begging to fulfill your materialistic needs. Questions should be answered if you have a concern that requires them. If everything is OK and your both having a good time and you feel the relationship is great then take it day by day. For you to flat out say prove yourself to me for no apparent reason is surely to send this guy packing or turn him into a relationship lackey doomed to wagging his tail as you give him a bone.

Do not, under any circumstances ask him to 'prove' his love to you. If he says he loves you but doesn't show it, talk to him...maybe you want more 'I love you's' or PDA's but asking him to prove it is sort of creepy, for lack of a better word. And who knows what his idea of 'proving' it is..... be specific - ask for what you want... and be willing to give him what he does.
