My call is Nikki. i like it many of the time, yet hate that such particularly some people misspell it (i'm getting Nicky, Nickie, Nikkie, Nickieye and so on). i admire that it particularly is unique nevertheless - and it particularly is cute. the different element I dislike is all and sundry continuously asking what it particularly is short for - they assume it particularly is in basic terms a nickname. i'm getting called Nicole or Nicola plenty :S My mothers and dads have been additionally thinking: Jasmine, Leah, Alexis or Emily. Jasmine: i like because of the fact my mum says she could have called me Jazzy maximum the time. i think of Jazz/Jazzy is an extremely surprising nickname. Alexis: I lovelovelove Lexi. Alexis is on my favourites record. I probable could have chosen Alexis if i ought to have picked from the record my mothers and dads had. My regular names are Madeline, Charlotte and Lily. in spite of the certainty that i does no longer pick to be named them because of the fact i pick to call my little ones those names :)

I wanted to be named like kids my age at the time - Marie or Michelle or Jennifer. Instead I was named after the Ms. Universe that year who had a stinkin old person name. I changed it as soon as I was able to.

When I was younger I liked the names Mandy and Wendy - alas, I ended up with a very historical queenie name - on the lines of Elizabeth and Victoria...
I am so relieved I wasn't called Mandy or Wendy now - I guess Mandy isn't so bad, but the name Wendy - what was I thinking of?
Perhaps its with good reason we don't get to choose our own names. lol

I wanted to be "Katie" or something common like that. My name is so unique when I was young it embarrassed me. Now, I love it! (Not that I want to tell everybody on Y!A what it is....sorry))
