I went out with this guy for 2 years. Then he dumped me..
I knew he smoked weed when I started going out with him, but it just got annoying. He would always be smoking and I don;t smoke and i would say mean things to him about it. I guess he had enough of my nagging. I mean I probally was going to break up with him anyway. He smoked like 3-5 times a day somtimes.

I know he would npot quite smoking for me so i just asked him if he could not smoke the 1 day a week I chilled with him, but he still smoked.

Yes, I would. I have had a similar experience to you - back in college. Sitting around while everyone is getting high is no fun at all. You can do better. Eventually, these guys who smoke dope all the time end up with a dead end life. Every guy I know who is a pothead, is still single well over the age of 30. Go figure!

From a guys point of view : Me being almost 25 yrs of age I think as a girl or ladies get older they look for more of a stable type of guy, and I dont smoke anything, maybe you could find some one that could give you more of there time, instead of smoking that many times a day, personally i have better things to spend money on then sh*t thats just turns to smoke....but thats my two pennies, I would say you would have a better time with someone else going to play a putt putt game then stay in a basement and sit around with some pot heads all night.

I've been with my guy for 4 years now. I don't do dope, never have, but when we got together he said he use to but hasn't since his Mom passed away. 2 years in the relationship and he said he smoked last when his divorce was final, ok he lied to me but said it was just that one time and not since. I found out here recently he has been smoking again since the summer, when I confronted him about it he said not every day just a hit or two to relax him for the evening and he does it privately, not as partying. Well, a couple weeks ago I found out he does smoke every evening when he comes in from work, says he just does it to unwind and says once this is gone he isn't buying it any more he's done with it again.
I'm moving out here soon, anyone that is fool enough to believe a doper when they tell you they only want to relax from a hard day is neither kidding you nor themselves, they are a drug addict. They STINK! I can no longer tolerate the stench that comes off him and his clothes, it smells like he lost a fight with a skunk. He smokes in private...in the basement, where all my clothes are hanging and I went to work the other day and kept smelling a foul odor and it finally dawned on me I smelled like a frigging joint...I was so embarrassed...that was the final straw for me...and it seems he is always broke, but he keeps right on smoking that stuff!

People who smoke pot 3-5 times per day are going nowhere! Pot sucks the energy out of you and kills what little brain cells there are...... Think of him dumping you as a GIFT! No offense, but he sounds like a loser whereas, you do not. And losers like to be with their own kind so as not to feel inferior...this is a compliment. Move on..... you are worth more than this.

just think, he probably asked a question here "Should I dump my controlling ***** girlfriend". i had a girlfriend who would always say that **** to me. "It's OK if you do it when you are at a party or hangin w/friends."
But as soon as I would she would act like a ***** to me on purpose. That was then. Now years later, I have been 'extremely' successful in my life and at age 32, I still smoke pot.......but have 3 VERY nice cars, 2 motorcycles in my 2 garages behind my nice house among lotsa other toys and I don't have to live check to check.
So do HIM a favor and break it off, so he can live life to the fullest the way he wants.....cuz there's way more than 'smokin' that makes up someones character. I have alot of successful friends who burn. But I do also know people who don't have lots of money, but I can assure you that it has nothing to do with weed.

well, I honestly couldn't go out with a guy who did drugs of any kind b/c enough people I've been close to do/did that and I don't like how it changes people. if I was going out with a guy and found out later he did, I would confront him about it and tell him how I felt. I would ask him to change, but would respect it is his choice. I'm not sure if I would break up or not if nothing changed, it woudl depend on the relationship. I would at least give him a chance to change or say don't bring that part of your life around when you're with me.

if i went out with a guy and like the 3rd day i saw him smoking i would tell him try to stop smoking or this will never work and if had a pot head im not really sure but if i see one i wouldd probaly would not go out with a guy that has a pot head

I dont know, i like bad boys and have been around plenty of them who smoked pot (along with family) so i kind of like it but i wouldnt want him 2 smoke it 3-5 times a day. As long as he had a job, payed his bills and rent (if hes renting a house or apartment) you never know. Thats just me, if you dont like it, then dont go out with people like that. Good Luck!

Well i todl my girlfriend who smoked for a while that it was that or me, we have been together for 3 years now, she hasn't smoked since that day. Some people think that is extreme, but It's something i am very against, and if she wants to do it, she can do it without me in her life. IT's not like a tick, you know where they blink when they're nervous, its a drug habit, and it is illegal, so more power to you for sticking up for yourself.
