The truth is that GOD put His truth on everybodys heart (everybodys) and we are all searching for Him. Sometimes we search in the wrong places and get led astray to bad things. We keep on searching even sometimes when we aren't even sure what we are looking for but we know something is missing in our heart and our life. So we come to this section to see if we can find the truth here. Is God real? Does he really exist? Maybe somebody here knows? I think if He is real we should only have to ask Him and he will let us know. After all if He is real He would be able to let us know and if not then we lose nothing.

Because they are like Muslims who think that their way is the right way and if only everybody thank like them the world would become this Utopia pf peace and love. So they are here to try and show our "error" and abandon our ways.
They have difficulty understanding that not accepting a lifestyle does not mean hate.
They also fail to see that in societies were religion has been removed that society has been worse not better. Eastern Europe for example. Look at western Europe, were people have also abandoned religion. Both drug use and crime rates have risen.
Then there are wars. There have been thousands of wars, but they only mention a few that were religious, and make it the rule rather than the exception . Was the world wars religious in nature? How about Vietnam? The gulf wars? But that is their reasoning. They think they are intelligent but a true intelligent person knows that he knows nothing.

Umm - there are other religions besides Christianity you know. Some of us just don't believe what you believe. So basically what you're saying is that Religion and Spirituality is only for Christians? Take off the blinders and get out of your box more often. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the diversity of America's spirituality.

Very lame! I love pointing out that the emperor has no clothes (not talking about Bush, but him too).
I've read enough of the word to be repulsed by it and enough theistic (especially Christian) diatribes, self-righteous attacks, and never-ending scripiture quotes and prosletyzing to know that you have nothing of value to offer.

Because I have so many friends here that I love - is the main reason.
Also, I like to debate the existance of god. It's an important question, innit?

a chance to educate.
i've actually talked a lot of people away from cult nonsense here, like christianity...and i'm glad for them, and glad for the fact i could help them out of the darkness of cult mythology.
besides, if no non-believers were here, the christians would get bored and leave, and go elsewhere to find people to annoy and thump their bibles at. a lot of us are therapy for christians.
