yes it does. It's just an annual fee that they charge you just to carry the card even if you don't use it.

Yes, you have to pay the annual fee just to use the card...
To be honest, there's a ton of credit cards out there with no annual fee. You might want to compare different offers online just to make sure you're getting the best deal. To see a wide variety of cards for comparison, visit:

Exactly that. Usually, a card that has an annual fee has some sort of perk or benefit, like airline miles. If that perk isn't worth the annual fee to you...change cards.

Yes, that is the fee to have the card. Go to www.bankrate.com and research credit cards. You should be able to find one that you qualify for with no annual fee.

Thats right the fee will be charged to your credit card and you will be billed to pay it.
But what I do and this depends on how good your credit really is and if the company actually "really" wants your business...I call in and tell them that Im not willing to pay that fee and they can either make an acception it or close the card. They normally make the acception.

The annual fee is whatever is allowed in your state. Thanks to 8 years of republicans in congress that rate is now about twice what it was in 1999.
Generally rates range from $35 to over $200/year depending on the type of card, credit limit and your payment history.
