I have had psoriasis for about 25 years but in the last year or so I have been getting infections through broken skin - this is happening almost every month so I am taking antibiotics nearly all the time. My GP has just put me on 2000mg of Floxapen daily. The infections make me feel ill, swimming head, very hot then very cold, giddy, not able to eat or drink very much. Is there an alternative way of dealing with this problem? Is psoriasis a 'breakdown' of the immune system? My glands swell up, my skin goes red, sometimes the skin on my face will just start to bleed slightly. Any ideas?

There is now evidence that psoriasis is not a skin disorder but in fact a gut disorder. Toxic overload of the liver due to the increased permeability of the small intestine will lead to toxins being depostied in the skin. Thus you have such things as psoraisis, eczema, and sclera derma.

Another factor in psoraisis is fatty acid imbalances.
Because fatty acids are related to inflammatory responses in the body, we see them often in conjunction with psoriasis.
Heavy metals can also play a role in psoraisis. With the increase in heavy metals in our environment, the skin becomes increasingly bombarded from not only the surface of the skin but also the ingestion of heavy metals.

Mangosteen heals the gut much more quickly than pills because it is a juice. It is absorbed through the gut mucosa rapidly, and then it enters the blood where it is taken to the liver. Once in the liver it helps to heal the liver through its anti-oxident capabilitiesand through other means.

Because toxins going through the gut are not overloading the liver too quickly, it can now dispose of these toxins through normal means rather than through the skin.

The Xanthones of this juice are powerful liver detoxifiers, and if taken on a daily basis, will continue to safeguard the gut, the liver, and the skin for many years to come.

Mangosteen has anti-oxident effects, anti-inflammatory effects, acid-lowering effects and, NO major side effects.

Drugs are dangerous and foods, as supplements, are not.

Yes. Psoriasis is is a chronic, long term skin disease that's thought to be caused by problems with the immune system.

It's not fully known yet exactly what causes Psoriasis, but studies so far indicate it's a result of actions and reactions from our body's immune system. The human body usually shed's skin from it's surface every thirty days or so. As part of that process, new skin cells are developed deep underneath the surface layer, and these slowly rise to the top over the 30 day time frame.

With Psoriasis however, those new skin cells rise to the top much more quickly. Surfacing in just a few days instead of 30, and this causes the skin cells to "pile up" because older cells aren't yet ready to be shed. This process is thought to be an over-reaction of our body's immune system.

Alternative medicine says there is actually a natural cure for psoriasis though. In fact, there are several. Some options for the most effective ways to cure psoriasis naturally include: Body detoxification, colon cleansing, and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Cure psoriasis starting today - even if your doctor or dermatologist says "it's impossible!"
I've just followed a guide called psoriasis free for life that completely cured me of this debilitating and embarrassing disease in less than a month!
Remember, this will not only treat the symptoms that you do see:
the red, inflamed itchy skin.
The silvery scales that seem to erupt for no reason.
The burning or bleeding that occurs around your joints.
The cracking, oozing and painful patches on your skin.
But it also treats the underlying cause of psoriasis - the part you don't see - the actual immune system deficiency that causes these itchy patches to appear and scale over.
For more information, check here : http://Psoriasis.naturallysaver.com .
You can definitely get back your life, your confidence and your self esteem!

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/CurespsoriasisSjZb everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

The new medication for Psoriasis is Soriatane-

This medication works wonders.

My dermatologist recommends his psoriasis patients bathe in a full hot bath with 1/4 cup of bleach added to the water every day-it cuts down on infections due to a break in the skin barrier.

This probably seems obvious so forgive me if it's a bad idea for some reason... But have you tried either local antibiotics like Polysporin, or even better an antimicrobial wash like Clorhexidine (Hibiclens)? Hibiclens is meant to kill bacteria on areas of the body as large as necessary, and has a lingering antibacterial effect. If your infections are skin based I'd really try something local before going for a systemic antibiotic.
