I was talking to this man for about 4 months, and he was not wanting to give me a for real relationship. He just said he wants me to still be around for him. I told him to not call me anymore because i wanted more than to just be around. It has been over a week he has not called. I know i said i didnt want him to call but i miss him so much.

NO!! I know your going to miss him bad! But he won't give you what you want a meaningful relationship.. If you call him your giving him what he wants, and your looking like the sucker!
Stand up for yourself and be strong don't call him.
Get a man who wants to be with you, and don't sell yourself short for anything less. Or you could, also enjoy some "you time" and get involved in some things, do some volunteer work, hang with friends. Have fun, but don't be his door mat.

No. You are wasting your time. You deserve a real relationship. Get out there and start dating and forget about this guy who cleary is not ready.
If later he is he will let you know. Trust me it is always better to be the pursued than the pursuer. He is taking you for granted.
Plenty of fish in the sea..... go dancing and see how it goes.
