What do you serve with crab cakes?

they're usually served with what's called a remoulade, which is like the french tartar sauce. and I like a nice fennel salad to go with mine.

I like to serve my crab cakes on or with a small salad. Some nice arugula or watercress with a simple lemon and olive oil dressing.
I also like to use a roasted red pepper dressing instead of the lemon and olive oil.

I have served crabcakes with a delicious and fresh mango salsa. I think the flavor compliments the crab cakes themselves. You can add some red pepper flakes for some spice but keep it minimal!

for me i like things spicy because i am from the Caribbean and with crab cake i would make a mango dip i will let you know how i do it OK

get one mango green
few leaves time
one hot pepper

peel mango and cup in small pieces
put pepper time and mangoes pieces in blender
add little water and press the button that say puree pour in dish add salt to taste. hope that you like it and your friends also

depends on the menu you're going for.

you can do them with a southern dinner - hushpuppies, greens, etc.

you can do them with a seafood dinner or side dish w/ anything!

i prefer them by themselves - you can serve them on some greens (butter lettuce leaves) w/ a nice aoli sauce.
