Check the EULA... you are only allowed to install it on one computer at a time.

No you can't.

However, there are many free and reliable operating systems available. Get UBUNTU or XUBUNTU if the computer has less than 256MB of RAM. Once you have it installed, you gain access to thousands of free programs created by the open source community.

Yes, you can; however, not legally. If you went down that path, your "friend" wouldn't be able to activate Windows, nor would your "friend" be able to download important updates. My advice? Don't do it. Give Microsoft what they rightly deserve and pay for what developers have worked so hard to create. Stealing movies, music, software... it's all the same. Don't do it.

Not legally no, you are supposed to purchase software for each pc, unless the license otherwise says so.
