Depends mainly on your pain tolerance, or your need to not look "wimpy" infront of your friends. Any place with thinner skin hurts. The inner wrist is quite painful, but only the bone area on the top of the wrist is painful. I wouldn't suggest it as a first tattoo, but for an experienced tattoo receiver it would twinge a bit.

Well any tattoo you get will hurt at least a little, on your wrist it wont hurt that bad, but it can depend on the size of the tattoo, if it's on your wrist I'm thinking it wont be that big, so you're not in for that much pain.

If you want it just to have it, you probably shouldn't get it. You should only get something so permanent if it is something that has meaning to you. Not something you pick off the wall at the shop or see on the net... And pain wise, I don't have my wrist tattooed so I couldn't tell you. I got my whole side done, from ribs to hip though and that's supposed to be pretty painful. It kinda felt like I was being cut at first and then changed into the feeling that you get when you scrape your knee a little later into it... I didn't think it was too bad so your wrist would probably be less... It depends on your pain tolerance too. My suggestion is just don't get it until you're really ready though and asking what you should get probably means you're not ready.

They hurt a bit, but not a lot. I think the tattoo on my neck hurt worse then the one on my wrist. The wrist is small so assuming that the tattoo is small aswell it doesnt take a lot of time to do, therefore it doesnt cause a lot of pain.

I just got a gemini tattoo thats about 2 inches by 2 inches on my inner wrist and it didnt really hurt. It was over in about 7 minutes, and while he was tattooing me it was more of an annoyance than pain. Similair to a rope burn.

It all depends on your pain tolerance. I would suggest you research tattoo's you might like. Although I don't think you should get a tattoo on your wrist cause later in life you might have to cover it. And I can tell you that having to wear long sleeves in summer because of tattoos sucks.
