My bf just ended our 2 year relationship badly. He hurt me a lot. I still love him, but he does not even want to be my friend.

he doesn't love you anymore, and it is unfair for you to love him. he doesn't deserve your heart. you need to find someone who does, or at least allow others to try and earn it from you. love yourself more than you love him and you'll be fine. take care.

The ending of a long term relationship is always hard. Remember times before your b/f? Do those thing you like to do. Hang out with your girlfriends. Try a new hobby. Even throw yourself into your work. Eventually it will get better and youll meet someone new. I actually think its better if your not friends. It only makes things harder to move on. Plus when you meet that someone new do you want him to think the ex is still in the picture?

As hard as it might be to accept, it will be easier on you not to have any contact with him. The first step in healing is to really accept the relationship is over and not harbour any false hopes you might get back together. The next step is to mourn the relationship but set yourself a time limit, don't be wallowing in self-pity. When you are ready talk to friends and start going out and having some fun. There is no substitute for passage of time but in the early stages any distractions help, as does ice cream.

Yeah you might still love him but there is probably a better guy waiting for you right now! Plus if he doesn't want to be your friend he has the problem not you. Hope this helps!

Sorry you are hurt. You can't be friends I do not think you want to hear about his dating and who he likes. You need to put you first, have some me time, go out with the girls and keep yourself occupied. In time you will see it gets easier. Good luck,,

Don't call him. Make it a game to see how long you can go without calling him. Date someone else. I haven't spoken to my ex (who did the same to me) for 8 years.

Focus on you for a while, re-discover what makes you smile (not HIM) and do that. There've been lots of good responses to questions like this one.
