LAST NIGHT MY DOGS EYE WAS RED AND PUFFED UP REALLY BAD THEN SHE SCRATCHED IT WITH HER PAW AND THE PUFFINESS WENT AWAY WHAT WOULD U DO PLEASE ANSWER ALSO IF U KNOW WHAT IT IS PLEASE TELL ME.

She might have just gotten something in there, like grass or dirt or something. Apparently she got it out on her own if the puffiness went away so as long as there are no more symptoms, don't worry about it.

I would take your dog to the vet and describe the symptoms. It was probably just a speck of dirt but I wouldn't take any chances, after all it is your dog.

please take your dog to a vet. she might have an infection of some sort, but the scratching incident sounds odd. It's just best to be safe and have it checked out.

She may have just had something in it, but i would have a vet look at it just to be on the safe side . you dont want to wait when it comes to eyes.

Sounds like there is infection involved, I would see the vet.

I would let the vet check for infection or ingrown eyelashes. better to be safe than sorry.

could be "cherry eye" that's where the gland be comes inflamed . its common problem in certain dog breeds.
