Open up to??? Well try to have common intrest with the teen. Look into their hobbies and past times and try to do something with them. Bonding. Good luck!

A lot of teens don't feel comfortable talking to their parents. I know i didn't. Don't pressure them to. It'll only make them turn away. Chances are they have a very close friend and/or an adult they prefer to talk to. If something seems wrong, simply ask "Do you want to talk about it? or "Is there something i can help you with?" If they say no, then just remind you that you're there if they change their mind. Reminding them that your door is always open if they want to talk will give you a better change of your teen turning to you when something is seriously wrong. Good Luck

nothing really, just try to relate to their interests that you have more to talk about but be sure not to get in the way of their social life or you will just work against yourself. Try going shopping or something with him/her but nothing that will make them feel uncomfortable.

Hmmm,some kids don't want their parents to know everything about them...You can't really make them open up.

dont pressure your teen if they need to talk they will or ask someone she is close to ,to talk to her
