Because of HIPPA laws, the doctors and medical organizations involved with the transplant are not legally permitted to tell you who got her heart. Your best bet would be to contact the hospital and give them YOUR contact information to give to the family, and if the family wishes to have contact with you, they will do so.

I'm not really sure if there is a specific place you can find out who was the beneficiary of your niece's heart. You may want to ask the hospital as they have a policy that lets you find out more information about that person. Perhaps then they might be able to get in touch with them for you if you want to meet them.
I'm very sorry to hear about your niece. Good luck in your search.

WRITE to the person in charge of organ donations or the hospital administrator at the hospital where your neice donated the organ and ask how to go about contacting the organ recipient.
Good luck.

My Bro in law had a transplant. The information is confidential unless the person recieving and the family donating agree to exchange any information. The information exchange had to be done thru the transplant center. Her mom would have to contact them; it's up to the recipient after that if they wish to share the info with her.

Contact the hospital that your niece was at. They can give you a contact number for this.

Due to privacy laws, this may be quite a challenge. Contact the hospital involved. Good luck!

if you haven't already contacted the hospital, do so.
however, if the recipient doesn't wish to be contacted then the hospital won't tell you.
just be content that your niece's death meant life for someone else.
and bless her for donating.

Ask the Chief of Cardiothoracic surgery of the hospital where the transplant was made to search in the registers or allow you to get the name of the recipient.
