My 1year old nephew has been in the hospital for a week. With a fever on and off, everyday. At first his infection level was 29,000, now 4 days later it finally dropped to 13,000. A ton of test came back neg., but theres not yet a source. Including a swollen lymph node on his neck.Even cat scratch fever was neg. Any suggestions???????

when my daughter was 1 to 3 years old she always got the highest fever anyone kid could get and i guess when i was small the same would happen to me.in my day my parents would put salt fish on the bottom of my feet and the fever would go down like within 3 to 4 hours and I done the same with my daughter.Depending where your from you may not have salt fish but you can make a salt poulticed.Like this a slice of bread put like 4 tablespoons of salt onto it and damp it with water put it on a white or any cloth and put it on the bottom of each foot, tie it on there with a loose knot and put the child's socks over it as a one year old will try to take it off but try and keep it on for at lease a couple of hours or all night or day if possible. And my dear this is a better cure than any doctor can ever give you for taking the fever down fast. This isn't the cure for the problem but it's the cure for the fever.within an hour you'll see the difference.my daughter use to get bladder infections that young. And some kids just get fevers for no apparent reasons especially if they are a red head.So if you try this I know for a fact you'll get a good nights sleep.
