One window, back of the house with minimal sunlight... a lamp is needed in the daytime... Its a very dull room. What color can i paint the walls to make the room apper brighter?

any yellow, cream color tones. I've been in a yellow room that didnt get much sun light, with one light on. it looked like as it was morning.

Lighter colors brighten rooms. There are beiges with different hues. I would go with the lighter ones. It's cozier than stark white. It is inviting to others. If you can, invest in more lighting like sconces or even a small chandelier. Have a great day.

White or off white or light shades of yellow.
White reflects the most light & next is yellow.

All other colors will make the room seem darker.

any yellows or creamy (beige tones) colors, these colors also help make the room appear bigger as apposed to dark colors

try a beige that is warm in tone, it looks nice
