The plug of mucous that fills the cervix to protect against disease and infection. This may start leaking out as the cervix slowly starts opening before labor, or may come out in one big chunk. It can be pink or tinged with blood which is known as "bloody show."

The plug of mucous that fills the cervix to protect against disease and infection. This may start leaking out as the cervix slowly starts opening before labor, or may come out in one big chunk. It can be pink or tinged with blood. If you notice blood-tinged mucous (" also called bloody show") from the vagina, you may be losing the mucous plug.

A collection of mucus, often tinged with blood, that blocks the cervix during pregnancy; known as the "bloody show" when discharged prior to labor. The texture and amount of mucus discharged varies greatly from woman to woman

It's a plug of a jelly like substance that seals the neck of the womb during pregnancy. The plug comes away at the start of labour, this is what is called a 'show'.

It is a plug between the outside world and your baby. It keeps bacteria out throughout your pregnancy. Usually when you loose your mucus plug you will have your baby within a week.
Good luck

It forms when you are pregnant, in your vagina, it's helps to protect your baby from infection which may enter through that way.
It's thick, yellowish in colour sometimes tinged with blood and leaves the Virgina area just before your baby is born, in for pregnancies I have only ever seen it once, so don't worry if you don't see you 'plug' when in labour, sometimes it vanishes, most likely when your on the loo so you can't see it as it sails down the toilet to the great sewers down below

mucous plur is whats plugs your cervix during your pregnancy. Once youre ready to have the baby, your mucous plug "unplugs" itself and gets you ready to have a baby!!
