I love the Isle of Man - it's magic and I think one of the nicest places in the world. Its a quiet peaceful backwater that combined all the best features of the countries around it (England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland) The scenery is very pretty, lovely and green, very much like Ireland and punctuated with narrow glens and featuring rugged coastal scenery. The highest point is 2000 ft. It has to be said that Douglas has seen better days, but is still possibly the best place to stay as it is the only major town and is the centre of the transport system.
You must go for a ride on the steam railway to Port Erin - and the Electric railway to Laxey and Ramsey MUST NOT BE MISSED. It is absolutely unique in the world, an electric railway on which the day to day service is maintained by trams dating from 1893-1906! The line is breathtakingly scenic. Linking the steam railway and the electric railway is something else quite unique in the whole world - a 2 mile long horse drawn tramway!

I noticeably propose holiday whilst the prospect arises. this is a super adventure. inspite of the undeniable fact that, if it comes all the way down to a decision between holiday or college, spend the money on your destiny and bypass to college first. which will place you greater useful for the prospect to holiday for the time of the the remainder of your existence. you ought to evaluate a school that has a semester or twelve months out of the country software and start off on holiday that way. there are assorted distant places pupils analyzing right here in Italy each and every twelve months.

I went there about five years ago, Douglas is a dump, and most of the resorts have seen better days, it's a place for the oldies now, it's still quite pretty though!
