The problem with prostate cancer is there often aren't any early symptoms and the symptoms that do occur are similar to other benign conditions that affect many men who don't have prostate cancer. The key to early diagnosis is regular PSA testing and digital exams which are needed by all men older than 50. A PSA at ages 40 and 45 is not a bad idea either.
