The answer is that you follow what your heart thinks. You can have a boyfriend at any age... i meen if you are good and ready to have a boyfriend. So I guess im tryin to say is...." you get a boyfriend when you think it is the right time."

I would say you shouldn't rush to get a bf/gf until you feel ready. If you really like a person while you're really young (like 10-11 yrs old), then I'd recommend being friends for a while first. You're more vulnerable when you're younger.

Depends on the person. I was 18.5 when I got my first bf. My friend was 12. Its really a personal choice. I chose to hang out with my friends, concentrate on school, sports and get a job rather than have a bf.

When you've completed both High School and college. Your schooling is more important and will take you farther in life than a boyfriend. You don't need that distraction and stress that comes with it.

i think 16 is a good age, you are not too immature anymore, you'll be well informed about sex, and you will have developed a stronger self so that you wont succumb to pressure from your boy.
