first of all stop trying home remedies. they don't work. let your skin heal and get proactiv. it works i promise. go slow at first though. when i first starting using it my skin got red and itchy, but then it better and is a lot clearer than ever before.

Oh no! That's terrible. I'd recommend you take a few Benadryl, wash your face carefully, apply a cold compress, and find some hydrocortisone cream. Look for some that doesn't contain petrolatum, as that will exacerbate acne.
To treat the acne, Proactiv is good stuff, but wasn't available when I was a teen. I learned to wash my face regularly with a mild cleanser. The harsh ones can actually cause you to produce more oil in response, leading to more acne. Witch hazel is soothing to the skin, and can be found at drugstores, usually. The key is to be gentle with your skin, sensitive or not. If you treat it aggressively, you are likely to develop more troubles.
Acne is also a complication of sensitive skin, so you might want to run a few experiments on yourself. I discovered that all liquid and cream foundations cause me to break out, but mineral makeup is safe for me and gives enough coverage. And there are makeups and cleansers for every skin type now. Good luck, I hope you find a good fix!

I never heard of apple vinegar to the face. I think the acid in it has irritated your skin! Cleanse your face very gently - no soaps - try Cetaphil for sensitive skin cleanser (it is thick like a lotion) and gently wash the skin clean. I'd avoid makeup and lotions until it calms down. If you think you actually burned your skin, see the doctor. Also, if you can't control your acne with over the counter products, then its time to see a derm. They have great Rx creams that really clear up the acne.

Take 2 Benedryls.... I always have Benedryl with me in case of an allergic reaction. Watch your symptoms. If you have trouble breathing or talking, then please go to the ER. I don't want to freak you out, but it could an anaphylactic reaction and that is very serious.
