ok...so...i am going to this dance tonight and my ex-boyfriend is going to be their. his friend (who dosen't actually like him) is also going there and is flirting with me a LOT. what if he askes me to dance? i don't want to hurt my ex he is still my friend.

If your ex is a true friend he shouldn't be hurt by your dancing with anyone. Stop worrying about his feelings and concentrate instead on having a good time. If guys thought a fraction as much about us there'd be far fewer relationship problems! Go have fun.

You'll see how mature your new bf is. Ask him first if it's ok. to dance with your old boyfriend (as a matter of protocol). Tell "Mr. New Arrival" the situation beforehand. Ask him to act surprised if the old bf asks, but to say the truth regarding his feelings if the situation arises.
