There are things in libraries called maps. You need to get one and look at it. All of Central and South America are christian or catholic and they have been slaughtering people for centuries. The UK used to have pike on London bridge where they put the heads of people they didn't like. Not really slaughtering women and children, but not very nice. The US slaughtered people by the millions just to get this land, and they were good christians. The conquistadors, with the catholic monks in rank, marched into villages, rounded up all of the men into a pig corral, raped and tortured the women and put the children on spits and roasted them over fires until they agreed to give up their gods and become catholic. What was your queation again about non-christain countries not slaughtering people???

Last time in the west? Few years ago, Columbine High School.

If you look at wikipedias "Death Toll" lists, you'll see that no part of the world has been free from slaughters in history.

They don't happen as often in the west as in other parts of the world because western governments are stronger, with better rule of law. But human nature is the same everywhere.

Ummm... WWII? Germany - population - christian.
Spain (ally of Germany) Catholic
Italy (Axis) Catholic
Slaughter of Muslims in Eastern Europe by Christian Majority?
The Inquisition and expulsion of Muslims from Spain in 1400s
The massacre of all native populations in the americas (2 continents) justified by catholics.
The slaughter of millions of Africans along the triangle trade BEFORE they arrived to america as slaves (0ver the course of 400 years, not 50)
Get real. Christians, as a group have done more damage in the way of genocides than any other on the face of the earth.

The answer is simple. They still haven't separated religion from government. Christianity was no better either, for 1,500 when the Vatican was in charge of putting kings on thrones etc, slaughterings happened all the time, plus the bonus of torture at the hands of Holy Inquisitors. US and Canada etc have separated the government from ruthless religious leaders who warp the truth for their own gain.

I believe early Americans slaughtered many innocent native American people - was that their Christianity speaking?

Were the Crusades not massive slaughters by Christians?

Try not to confuse governments with religions.
