Dream Interpretation help? Is this God communicating with me?

Before I tell you my dream read this post I put yesterday:

Okay here is my dream (its weird like all dreams are): So I am at home, and I wake up from a nap to a commotion within my house. My family members tell me that something is happening outside, but they don't know what. I turn on the t.v and put CNN as I usually do but they are only reporting usual stuff, the anchor looks shocked and he says that Breaking News will follow shortly..

I immediately know something is up, and 911 comes to mind ( I live in NYC), it was a very eerie feeling. Looking out the window the sky suddenly turns black, it appears to be millions of birds swarming through the sky as though they are fleeing from something. An overwhelming fear comes over me.

My father says look they are forming something in the sky. Various patterns emerge: (please read on)

I look up in the sky to see a pattern of a white dove, followed by a dolphin with a baby dolphin next to it, a heart, and others I can't really remember. My father a militant atheist, has a weird look on his face, he seems happy (which is very unusual), he tells me there is nothing to worry about and goes outside. My sister follows, the news starts showing images of the swarm of birds, thats when a feeling came over me, it was one of anticipation, I knew something was going to happen, but I wasnt afraid...I felt somehow relieved. I went outside thinking to myself "is this the end of the world?"

As I go down the stairs I see a man who looks like the manager from the Frasier show, the fat guy at the radio station, kenny is his name I believe, and several beatiful women with him.

One of the women reminds me of someone, as I look at her I fall in love with her instantly. But I remain quiet and stand back to see what is going on, suddenly Kenny looks at me, I become startled, he tells

he tells me: "this is all about you..." (whoa I'm getting goosebumps) I surprised at this statement look at him and ask what is going on? he tells me in not so many words, almost like he implies it, that this place is heaven. I cannot believe it, I always thought I was going to hell, I was skeptical. He tells me, as though he is reading my thoughts, that woman that I saw is to be my wife, which is why I felt in love with her instantly, I was overwhelmed with emotion. As I began to let my guard down, I ask the woman is this all true? She smiling nods her head yes...and then she fades away. Kenny (God I assume) tells me: heaven is for all, except a few, you are one of those few, this is why: (explanation continues)

Kenny like the ghost of christmas past shows me a scene from my life (this happened not too long ago) where I am...cursing God. I will not go into details, but I was saying some pretty harsh things, F-you this, F-you that I hate you, and I will never love you (just anger, confusion, frustration....)

As this scene was played over and over again the sound was like amplified to the point where it was painful to hear, I felt real pain. Kenny tells me, it breaks my heart to hear that.

Then I woke up.

Now here is my interpretation:

End of the world= My Death
Birds Swarming= Message of love
My Father= Same as above
God psyching me out= I don't know
The ghost of christmas past scene=descent into hell

Waking up= Hope....

the dream was so vivid, I felt it like nothing else...since I am so skeptical I will inevitably find a way to doubt it.....is this god talking to me? or a figment of my imagination?

Okay, you have my attention, keep going.

EDIT: In my experience, when I have a dream of an angel or a saint, or God, there is a negative part of the dream as well. So I understand the negative parts showing up along with the fantastic wonder of the other parts.

I am a Christian who was blessed highly by my conversion, it was not an uneventful experience. Nothing was left to guess about. For I had been suicidal and also used as a resting place for demons since I was about 8 years old. My conversion took place when I was 24 years old, and it chased those demonic forces away.

They tried to come back but they were stopped and taken away from me. It's been years since any of that occured, I am now 46.

I'm telling you this because the reason why I was exorcised by God ( no one was with me, I was in a dark bedroom alone at one of my brother's house) , was because I trusted God. And THAT is the key to your connecting with God. The desire to come to Him actually comes from Him.

NOTE THIS SPECIFICALLY:
Otherwise, you would not even care.

So yes, God IS leading you to Him. Otherwise you wouldn't want to. The ability to recieve that desire wouldn't even be there.

BUT! In this posted question, and in the other posted question I recognized the fact that you asked Him in prayer. Yes, that IS and act of FAITH. You trusted Him to hear you. And now you have signs and wonders in the form of a dream, what will you do with that? Is it that you are having dreams close to this ALL THE TIME? In the way you worded the description of the dream, I think not!

Now as to your dream. You have a decision to make. Only you can decide whether or not you will continue to trust Him. This is not a sprint, as it has been said; it's a marathon. Why I bring that up is that there will be an attack upon the USA by those countries that are for the most part 'Non Aligned'. Russia will come from the north, and those Latin America countries from the south. I reference your dream there in that the sky is turning black, and the connection to 911 comes into play. If you've seen the movie Red Dawn, it will be something like that, only their success won't be so obvious, they will not succeeed.

What is interesting about that is; it will take place during the Great Tribulation. If you are there to see it, you missed the Rapture. And that will only be ONE harmful thing that will occur in that 7 year period.

Now your dream gets rather funky in a spot. Where 'Kenny' is to be wedded with a wife. The type of Christ could be represented here, and the woman he is to marry the Church-- the types of those are found throughout scripture. Jesus as the Bridegroom, and the Church looked at as a woman to be wedded to Jesus. But when he says, " heaven is for all, except a few, you are one of those few, this is why" it is not concurrent with scripture.

This makes either your story changed by you in the telling of it, or he was trying to appear as a recognizable figure, and was actually a demon.

This is because most people ARE NOT going to heaven, and only a few will. So scripture is the opposite to what you reported. Could he have said that you were one of the few that would get into heaven? Because that makes more sense to me-- UNLESS he was just posing as a 'good' figure who was authoritative.

There is one important thing to realize about dreams: YOU ARE THE BEST INTERPRETER OF YOUR DREAMS. If you genuinely want to know, you will get to know.

Dreams represent one way that God talks to us. The images you see in your dreams may not mean the exact thing presented to you, and many times the dreams may have been 'edited' to a level acceptable to you. This is because there is no point showing you truth if it will destabilize you. This does happen sometimes when someone is not prepared for what he sees.

That you realize something profound is going on is a good point. Follow your nudges; pay more attention to your dreams; keep a journal if you like. Pretty soon, they will become clearer, and you will get better at interpretations.

And you will determine if it was God or not. Welcome home.

there are some possible spiritual elements in your dream. you ultimately decide what they mean. but here are some ideas.

the end of the world is not the end of the world - but it could stand for a massive world changing event in your own life.. it doesnt have to be a bad one.
the dove = the Holy Spirit, like the dove john the Baptist saw resting upon Jesus when he was baptized in water.
the heart = your inner being. the heart is the garden of belief. where seeds are planted, to grow.
the birds in flight = active change, movement to another place.
the dophin with baby in sky= out of natual element into supernatural element.

all of the people in your dream could be symbolic rather than actualy people that you know or may or may not meet.

kenny, the director, supervisor? = your conscience. an element of yourself.

This a vision of what is to come.Prophecies have been given to nyc.The prophecy states that nyc will be in flames and that the whole city will be in ruins.When? I don`t know.All I know is that If I lived there I would get out and move.Or pray to God and save you so you don`t go to hell.I hope I`m wrong.
