Seriously think about this. So, god is supposed to be omnipotent(all powerful), omnibenevolent(all loving), and omniscient(all knowing). So, the "one true god" created all we see before us, is responsible for the existance of everyone and everything, and 80% of the world does not beleive in him. Why would an all powerful god allow this. So, when posed with this question, we get "oh he gave us the free will to deny his existance." And, why would anyone, or any"thing" do something like that? And, if he did "grant us" free will, did he know the majority of the earth would use it? If he didn't, I guess there goes the omniscient part.
I just think it is funny that 4 out of 5 people on this planet do not believe in the christian god. And the only answer they can give is "free will".
If that is truly the case, and god does exist, he's an idiot.

Yes,free will is a joke. It is similar to a husband telling his beaten wife, "LEAVE IF YOU WANT, YOU HAVE FREE WILL. BUT IF YOU LEAVE I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU!"
Pretty much the same thing, you have free will but if you piss God off he'll chuck you into hell.

Man has put a package of hell on planet earth together with little regrets. Take all the toys away that allows man to use his free will to perpetrate and you have the powerful and the illusioned that are really weak when the time comes to realize truths. Most run about with regard for little more then what chisled their game face. Life is to understand through knowledge, the problem is that most men stop at that point in the game of life and make their stand with no wisdom that sorts out all the whys. The illusions here have no bearing towards what waits after death of the physical form for we have no eternal answers here that are concrete. Another words you can rant and rave to create change here at this level for the only guidelines consist of mans interpretations that are guided by greed that deletes Creators connection to we that seek the full journey.

to envision that Christianity to have any validity, it has to denigrate the Jewish faith. what's a Mitzvah? Lireally it potential "commandment" or "regulation" besides the undeniable fact that it truly is so a lot extra, it truly is any such suited ingredient that connects us to the limitless one. We study that Hashem gave us unfavorable commandments because He loves us. What does that advise? regardless of each little thing, a unfavorable commandment is something we are forbidden to do, so how does that tutor love. that is the answer. even at the same time as a Jew isn't engaged in any effective commandment, even if he's doing no longer something, he's not transgressing the unfavorable commandments and receives zchar (earnings) for this. anytime a Jew says a Brachah (a blessing) on nutrition, he recognizes (even if only for a pair seconds) that each little thing he has, he might want to tutor appreciation for, no remember how small, and he's taking no longer something with out any interest, no longer even a tiny sip of water. Mitzvot are the perfect expression of what a Jew is, for even the smallest of the Jews is compared to a rimon (pomegranate) it truly is crammed with seeds (Mitzvot).

free will has nothing to do with god or with heavens...
Man is condemned to make a choice in every second of his life. Some choices are good for him and some arent. Whether he is fully aware of the consequences of his choices is more important than whether he has free will or not. He may sincerely think that the option he chooses is good for him and for mankind but it may come out the other way around. At such cases he cant be held responsible. The problem is that most of our choices are made in full ignorance of the consequences. God doesnt exist

There is --A LOT-- of information on the page I am about to give you, but it answers you're question in it's entirety!

The truths within the Bible are very paradoxical, which is why they are very hard to understand for most. And, is why Jesus spoke to the masses in parables.
But, we must understand that while Free Will is a Truth of the Bible, so is the Truth that God foreordained everything before creation. This is explained in that website. (And, I think you will see that both are equally valid AND equally invalid.)
If you have the time to read it all, then I think you'll find the answer you seek.
Oh, and just so you know, it covers the idea of Atheists as well. ;-)

I could answer any question you got without just saying free will.
If you listened to them, you'd hear more.
He gave us free will so we'd be live a life instead of being energizer bunnies.
You should thank him for giving you a life.
Oh and 80% of the world DOES believe in some sort of a god.

I believe in a higher power, but not the Christian God. They make him seem like some big butt politician passing judgement on every thing that bats an eye. and it's just pathetic. If there was a creator ....he made everything and everyone for a damn reason - and since human nature strives to be good (majority) and happy and love....then it's a good creator, not some corrupted pumped up vengeful - worship-me bull sh--.
