In all of the years that I have owned cats and have worked with them. The biggest one I ever saw was over 30 pounds.

I had a big tomcat (people asked me all the time if he was part bobcat - not) and he weighed 18lbs when I got him. Then we had the 'Liver War' and he settled at 14lbs - which I think was his best weight. Cats look heavier than they are.
I'm believe Maine Coon Cats are the largest breed and their upper normal weight is 13 to 18lbs or so. Anything over that is probably overweight.
Or did you want to know how fat they can get? Very.

We have a photograph of a 35 pound domestic cat, and IIRC the guiness world record for a domestic cat was either that 35 pounder or a 36 pound cat.
35 pounds might be as large as they can get.
This cat was VERY fat, btw -- very unhealthy.
The biggest cat we have ever had was a fat-lazy siamese who got up to 18 pounds.

Hi, My cat Sweep was 28lbs he didn't have 1oz of fat on him. He was very tall and Black and White. I put it down to him starting life on a farm and having a good mum (that was me). He was just your run of the mill Heinz 57 variety cat. He died last year 16th August he had cancer he was 12 years old. He was the biggest cat i have ever owned,.and just like all the others he was loved.

I have two cats and one weighs 19 pounds. The other weighs 12 pounds.

Cats can get pretty big depending on its frame.

Ive seen some super dee duper ones...
Not sure thier size... I was gonna say 19 lbs...but i see others have said more... and I KNOW>.. wild animal cats and crosses get way bigger

I'm assuming you mean a house cat. Well mine is 22 lbs. He is a Maine Coon.

We had one that topped out at almost 27 pounds. And no, he was not fat. I forget the breed, but the males, especially, are known for the size. He was HUGE!!!
