Your premise is invalid because you imply that God and Jesus are separate... but I'll entertain the question. Jesus is God, just like the Spirit of God is God... they are one. We worship Jesus because He is God... (monotheism), he has created everything that has been created. The best part is, that He provided a way for us to be redemed back into the Kingdom of God (God himself has done this). If all we had was righeousness we would all be dead in our sins... but because He loves us (as his creation/children) he has shown us mercy by being the insatiable sacrifice necessary to cover our debt. Just like in the days of old... where blood sacrifices were used for spiritual cleansing, His blood became our perpetual sacrifice for spiritual cleansing. Jesus' character is God's character... thus you see how God has chosen to reveal himself through progressive revelation, and why Jesus sais that if you have seen him, you have seen the Father. If you worthip the Father, or the Holy Spirit... you are also worshiping Jesus. So, no matter what name you use in the Trinity (bibilically speaking) your prayers/worship is heard/received in heaven.

YES & YES & YES! God does not accept worship that comes any other way. Jesus is the only acceptable payment for sin and worship is not in Spirit and in Truth unless it first comes through the person of Christ and the Life that is restored to the soul in fellowship with God. Once you are saved, your worship will be accepted.

There is only one God. Jesus is God's Word that has become Man. What would be more authentic than God's Word in Flesh? Jesus never lied. He told us "I and the Father are one"
Christians don't worship three God's.

John 10:30 I and the Father are One!
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
God Bless You!!!

Why do you think you have to worship God through Jesus? You can worship God directly. But to be saved you have to accept Jesus as your savior. To worship is to worship God and Jesus, who are the one in the same.

Jesus is God. This is the central theme of true Christianity. Jesus is God because he is inseparable from the Trinity and always agrees with the Father and the Holy Spirit. All three members of the Trinity are co-equal.

Well if you accept Jesus as fellowship with God as just one of many ways to communicate in the spiritual sense with the world then this would fit the many ways people do that.
But for Christians Jesus Christ is the true source of all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Christians acknowledge by faith that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and dwelt among men and now lives in our hearts. That is how we communicate with God. But the spiritual world is all around us as well. And Jesus will reveal himself in spiritual ways also but only that we recognize the source of our wisdom is in God's word and through Jesus Christ and our daily fellowship with him.

Yes.
It's a commandment by God. There aren't ways to get around commandments just because they are more convenient for us to follow or comprehend.
John 17:3 states: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
So we have to worship both God and Jesus, and we pray to God through Jesus!

Worshipping Jesus instead of God is wrong, and no one should be teaching that, and I don't believe that Jesus taught it, either.
If you actually have a relationship with God, he'll introduce you to Jesus in his own time when he thinks you need it. If he actually exists, surely he can accomplish this if it's important, right?
