That is not a problem, I always use the Ziploc bags that have the name printed on them.

Thank you for asking this!!! Doesn't matter what it has written on it. Write on it yourself if you'd like :) The only concerns TSA has is that you have only the quantity of 3.4 oz / 100 ml bottles that will fit into that quart size bag. One bag per passenger. Removed from your carryon property, declared (you tell the Officer that you have it), and sent through the X-Ray seperately from your other belongings. If you do this, it will cut down on the time spent waiting for an Officer to do a bag check because you have something in your bag that shouldn't be there. One thing that people country-wide are not grasping is that yes, water and coffee and juice are liquids, and if you don't have them packaged as stated above, they will be prohibited from passing through the screening checkpoint. Period. A bottle of wine or a flask of Irish whiskey in your carryon is, yes it is, a liquid, and far exceeds the permissable quantity of liquid per container. Ladies, your mascara and lip gloss are liquids. Gentlemen, your shave gel is a gel and an aerosol, both of which are required to be declared. So are toothpaste, peanut butter, jelly, yogurt, soup, Tabasco sauce, sodas, and a host of other items that are liquid, cream, gel or aerosol. Pack your big containers of shampoo in your checked bag, just keep a small travel kit in your carryon for the possibility of your checked luggage being delayed. Exceptions are made for an adult traveling with an infant, related to the infant's needs and the length of their travel. Exceptions are made for prescription medications. If you're traveling, take a moment to look at the website TSA has, it will give you the information you need to make screening a breeze.

Yes, it just has to be a 1 qt. size. When I flew through Salt Lake City last weekend, the TSA agent at security was handing out 1 qt. ziplock bags (but not the name brand). I had a "ziplock" bag when I flew, and it was fine.

As long as they are mostly see through there shouldn't be any problem. Ziplocs are the only ones I will use - very well made.

Everyone agrees... not a problem. Here's the US Transportation Security Administration's website with their list of permitted and prohibited items: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm If you're traveling into or out of the UK and Europe, the restrictions are slightly different.... metric for one thing, and 100ml bottles (3.4 oz instead of 3 oz in a one liter bag 20 cm x 20 cm (8" x 8") instead of one quart 8" x 7.75").
If you're traveling in the US, I'd go with the smaller size bottles just to be safe, but the metric size plastic bag should be OK. Check the British Airways website: http://baa.com/
